It can be hard to get kids outside during the winter. But if you can minimize your clothing time (isn’t half the battle getting to the mountain?) with this mom hack you’ll thank me later on: ONE PIECE SNOW SUITS!!!! One zipper, mittens (gloves without fingers) + boots without laces if possible. The less fuss the better in my opinion!

WHERE WE SKI:
Welllll snowboard. 🙂 Last year we did Snowbasin. Jon taught snowboarding classes up at Beaver Mtn before I met him. The guy has more patience for that kind of stuff than the average anyone. He loves it + is so good at it. But anyways, there are some great package offers on their site with ski school + lift tickets. They have an incredible Magic Carpet that you can use for free if you are just learning. Kids under 7 are free! Which makes learning super easy. The only reason we swapped up to Nordic Valley is that they have night skiing. We like to burn up there after Jon gets off work! 
My ride-or-die crew was just as excited to hit the slopes at night. I definitely hung out with Jack in the lodge for the first go. I prefer sunnnny ski days.

it’s sooooo important that we make the most of each season. Juan is a trooper + he makes everything we do that much more epic. Our boys have their own real-life superhero + anything dad does is the C O O L E S T.
We’re lucky to live in a state that has so much diverse landscape + all 4 seasons. That means we can hit the snow-packed mountains or head south in our sprinter van (still searching for a name) + camp out in Zion.
In 2019 we decided we’re going to make more time for these moments. We work hard, but we honestly play harder. You’ll hear me say it often but I’m embracing this alllll boy lifestyle with both my hands + all of my heart!
